Compared with its Original counterpart, we found Rouge's flavor to be more enjoyable and mainstream. Thanks to the addition of pomegranate juice, spices, and tea, the product feels like a sophisticated take on the classic holiday bottle of sparkling grape juice. However, it feels slightly less unique than the flavor in Twelve Original. Packaging and branding also feel improved over Original, which is the result of the darker-color liquid and the more descriptive name of the flavor. Otherwise, the modern and chic appearance is on par with the other variety. Ultimately, this feels like a well executed boutique spin on a classic sparkling juice.
