BevNET Review: Originally created for the UK market, Ubershot is an energy shot that comes packaged in a beautifully designed 2 oz. aluminum bottle. The vibrant red backdrop makes the product look nice from afar, while the minimalist look to the product’s brand is appealing and, as a result, adds some credibility to the product. Even their slogan, “Energy for life with no lows,” is simple and succinct. There are no desperate callouts touting the products function or benefits, which again reinforces the sense of credibility that we cited earlier. Perhaps our only question about the packaging is the seal, which is simply covered with a loose piece of tape rather than any sort of safety seal. But enough about the packaging – let’s talk about what’s inside. Ubershot’s formula is definitely not for the caffeine sensitive, with 210mg of the substance packed into each 2 oz. container. So, needless to say, it has some pretty good kick to it (it’s also loaded with taurine, B vitamins, and amino acids). And last, but not least, is the flavor of the shot. It’s relatively easy to drink, with a sugar free (sucralose sweetened) formulation that has a mellow berry flavor to it. There’s some noticeable burn from the caffeine, so you might have to sip it slow, but it’s otherwise slightly above average as far as the category is concerned.
