BevNET Review: We'll get right to the point -- Uno Mas did a great job with its Cola Energy Drink. Let's start with the flavor. The sweet cola flavor is easy to consume and, to state the obvious, will be one that is familiar to all consumers. Even if you consider it against straight colas, this one can definitely stand on its own. There's no "energy" aftertaste and it's relatively clean and crisp. The packaging, however, is really what sets the drink apart. The urban graffiti-style logo is definitely catchy and dark blue can is clean and attractive. Plus, we really like the simple name -- it will definitely resonate well with ethnic and mainstream consumers alike.Reviewed on: 8/17/2005

BevNET Review: Not our favorite flavor of Uno Mas, this grape flavor is kind of bitter, although still, like the orange flavor, reminiscent of Fanta. This is the most energy-drink tasting of the four Uno Mas products, and while we don’t like that, we sure do like the can – even in purple, that graffiti look and simple design is appealing.Reviewed on: 8/17/2005

BevNET Review: Okay drink, great can. The lemon-lime flavor has some nice citrus flavor and not too much high-fructose syrupiness, but is highly acidic and a bit too sweet, likely to attract its core Hispanic market. But the can, with a simple, cool graffiti insignia, is one of the best looking energy drink packages we’ve seen in months. It’s got a nice, deep green color, a funny “we’re #1” hand, and nothing too ambitious beyond that. Will it keep them coming back? Why not.Reviewed on: 8/17/2005

BevNET Review: Passable as both an orange soda and as an orange-flavored energy drink, this tastes largely like Fanta but packs an energy punch. Regardless, Uno Mas isn’t going to get bought because of its flavor, but because of its great, urban graffiti-influenced can, which has a street-cool look to it.
