Vault flipping rocks. In some places, it's really cheap. It has great taste, great packaging, good commercials and ads, and gives me enough energy without making me hyper "like Amp, Rockstar, Monster - Official Energy Drinks.) As an energy soda hybrid, it succeeds in all areas. I have nothing bad to say about it.

Mello Yello Substitute
I don't remember Surge much but I like the Vault well enough. I agree with the person who said Ice makes the difference. It really does need to be kept cold. I wish Coke would sell Mello Yello more. I'm a southern transplant living in Western New York. I can't get Mello Yello up here so I drink Vault at work. But I import Mello Yello from my Mom's place in Southern Illinois. Though they are close, I think Mello Yello is much better.
This is the drink you would buy if you wanted a Monster, but didn't want that much of a kick and you wanted a little more kick than a Mountain Dew. This drink succeeds at this. The taste is great, tastes a lot like Surge and is one of the best tasting sodas coke has ever produced. This drink gives a noticeable energy boost, but won't keep you up for 5+ hours. Its cheap too, at most places it's the price of a normal bottle of soda.
I think more younger people should be aware of the 78 grams sugar in the new Red Blitz Valut realsed in March 2007! I am upset that a young child that doesnt know that they have diabetes or hyper/hypoglycemia will drink vault and perhaps have a sugar attack or go into a diabetic coma. I have hypoglycemia and I know if I drank a Red Blitz Vault I would be in the hospital!!! I think Coca Cola should put some warning label or do something to help children understand that energy drinks are not always good for their health. There are other ways to stay wake and have HEALHTY energy. Please someone take my comments into considertion! I am not trying to hound anyone I am just conserned with childrens health. Thank You
Sure, it's another try by Coke to outperform Mountain Dew, but I guess it's worth it. The product tastes slightly sweeter than MD, but reminds me a lot of Surge. I think Surge had MUCH more caffeine than Vault, however.
How can this be presented as an Energy drink when it has no stimulant, vitamin, or other energy related ingredients except for sugar and caffiene. Come on, this is no more an energy drink than regular coke is.

Kicks like an energy drink? LoL.
That's the worst title ever, because this thing is nothing but a mere ripoff of Mountain Dew. Mountain Dew isn't really an energy drink, more or less a drink that just keeps you're faint eyes open, but not really making you awake. Same goes for Vault, look at the ingredients. Lots of sugar, and a small jab of caffeine. No sign of any other energy supplement.
Energy drinks, at least in my thought, should have more than just caffeine (or not even caffeine for that matter.) Guarana, Ginseng, Vitamin B12, Taurine, etc.
This tastes like Sierra Mist and Mountain Dew combined. That is the only thing I liked about the drink. It's refreshing to say the least, but not as energizing as energy drinks, so I'll give it 2 stars just for that.
The bottom line is just grab a Monster, or any one of those 16 ounce beasts; they'll pack more punch than this drink.
