Product Type:Juice: Fruit Juice; Container: 16oz Plastic
BevNET Review: Made with a blend of kale, romaine, dandelion greens, parsley, celery, cucumber, apple, lemon, and flax oil, this variety of Vibrant Earth Juices might sound like it's going to be overwhelming. Fortunately, they've formulated it in such a way (maybe through the addition of water?) that the flavors of the greens and celery take center stage, but aren't too potent. The use of lemon and apple definitely help, with the acid of the lemon and the sweetness of the apple giving the product some balance and a nice finish. We don't taste the flax oil, which is fine, but it should add some omega content (although how much is not disclosed) to the drink. Comparing this with other cleanse and raw juice products that we've sampled, we think the thin body of this product is somewhat of an impediment for this brand. Cutting the water, even if it means moving to a smaller package size, is something that we'd like to see. In addition, the visual aspect of this product, which feels very much like a handmade product, could stand to be improved. We're not suggesting that they should make this look like a bottle of mass produced juice, but having a more vibrant looking label would be in line with the brand name. Overall, a great start, but we'd like to see it refined a little further. Reviewed on: 11/30/2012

IMMUNITY 2

Product Type:Juice: Fruit Juice; Container: 16oz Plastic
BevNET Review: Vibrant Earth Juices' "Immunity 2" is a blend of pineapple, pear, lemon, mint, and flax oil. Really, the main flavor is that of the lemon, with an almost overpowering citrus flavor that hits your tongue as soon as you start consuming the product. There is some sweetness to it, but it doesn't come until the second half. Also, there's some pulp in the product, which tastes like a little bit of pineapple and pear. While we're fine with juices that aren't super sweet (or even sweet at all when it comes to a cleanse product), we feel as though this product would benefit from its flavors being made a bit stronger. Visually, we like the name and the concept, but the execution needs some work. First and foremost, the label needs to have a stronger presence, with its current version feeling like something that was very much an afterthought. Beyond that, adding a nutrition panel and full ingredients list would be helpful. Lastly, we realize that this part of a cleanse system, but having multiple flavors with the same name (the number being the only differentiator) is a bit confusing. Overall, a nice start and we hope they can tweak it a bit.Reviewed on: 11/30/2012

SWEET & SPICE

Product Type:Juice: Fruit Juice; Container: 16oz Plastic
BevNET Review: Sweet & Spice is Vibrant Juices' blend of carrot, ginger, strawberry, apple, and flax oil. Despite it not being listed on the container, it also seems like they've added some water to the mix, based on its rather light and refreshing body. Otherwise, each of the fruit and vegetable ingredients is easily distinguished from the mix, with just the right amount of each making for a very balanced flavor. As far as the "sweet & spice" are concerned, we wouldn't describe it as overly sweet, although it's definitely fruity in nature. The ginger does add some spice, but it isn't something that we'd call overly spicy either. That said, this blend should have pretty broad appeal, but if they want it to have a more pronounced sweet and spice flavor there's some work left to do. The addition of flax oil, presumably for adding omegas, is a plus, given the target audience that exists for raw juice. All in all, we really like what's inside the bottle. On the outside, there's still a long way to go, especially if they ever want to push this into retail. But even on the juice cleanse front, there are better looking products out there. We would suggest starting with the obvious, which is that the product needs to be labeled properly (it has not Nutrition Facts panel). From there, we like the name and the logo, but it could it could have some more pop to it (it is called Vibrant Juice, after all). Overall, this product is definitely a great starting point for the brand and we hope that they can build upon this. Reviewed on: 11/30/2012

TANGY

Product Type:Juice: Fruit Juice; Container: 16oz Plastic
BevNET Review: Tangy is a blend of pear, cucumber, lemon, organic aloe vera juice, and flax oil. Its name is a very accurate descriptor of the product, with almost no sweetness found in the mix. While each of the ingredients are distinguishable from the mix, it's the heavy lemon finish that really takes over and provides the mainstay of the flavor. The resulting blend is really quite refreshing, but it's lack of sweetness could be an issue for some consumers. Added flax oil and aloe vera juice are presumably there for their health benefits, but there's nothing listed on the label (there isn't even a nutrition panel). Vibrant Juices' Tangy is visually plain and simple, which is how one could really describe all of the flavors that make up this brand. That's not really an issue if they're just doing local delivery, but if its retail they are eventually after they'll need to rethink this strategy. Fortunately, the branding itself seems like something that could be a nice foundation for a more developed design (they've used the brand pretty nicely on their website, for example). Overall, it's a nice-tasting product, but we wish that the design of the packaging got a little more attention.Reviewed on: 11/30/2012
