With kale, romaine, dandelion, parsley, celery, cucumber, apple and lemon as its blend of fruit and vegetable juices, Vibrant Earth Energy starts out being a pretty straightforward green juice. It’s big on kale and romaine flavor, with celery, cucumber and parsley being secondary flavors. The sweetness is very subtle, providing just enough to keep the vegetable flavors from being completely overpowering. Lastly, the company has added flax oil, which doesn’t seem to add anything to the flavor, but does give the juice some nutritional benefits depending on how much the company uses. In terms of the overall flavor, this definitely a very drinkable green juice. On the outside, the packaging and messaging is, thanks to the name “Energy,” somewhat confusing to us. While we conceptually understand what Vibrant Earth is trying to say, the word “energy” has a very specific connotation when it comes to beverages. This in turn might make consumers wonder what’s in it. Putting this aside, we like the simplistic look of the packaging. However, we think that the branding would feel stronger if the Vibrant Earth logo were at the top of the label. Overall, an enjoyable product that needs only a little bit of refinement.
