BevNET Review: Vida Tea's Desert Pear Great Tea is our favorite flavor of the lineup. Featuring an accurate pear aroma, the product's taste is a complex pairing of fruit and tea flavors that have been blended into an excellent carbonated concoction. The agave is a nice touch, lending its cool finish to this product. However, it's a bit sweet, especially as you get about half way through the can. Packaging is simple, clean, and attractive, with a 12 oz slim can that has been decorated with a variety of modern looking elements. Overall, we really like this product.Reviewed on: 8/28/2007

BevNET Review: As far as sparkling tea drinks go, this one is definitely top notch. They've blended green tea with carbonated water and then sweetened it with organic blue agave, resulting in an original flavor that's extremely refreshing. While there's a noticeable fruitiness to product, we don't taste much in terms of pomegranate flavor -- it seems like more of a marketing thing than anything. On the packaging front, the product is clean and relatively simply, with a 12 fl oz can being the format of choice. Vida feels a lot like Enviga in terms of look and feel (sorry, guys) and our only complaint is how easily the cans dent (we didn't get a single one that was dent free). Still, we really like how it tastes and think that this product can be a solid mainstream entry.Reviewed on: 8/28/2007

BevNET Review: There's a decent berry flavor to this product, but it definitely tastes like flavoring as opposed to something born from nature. That being said, this was our least favorite flavor of the line. However, the product does have some redeeming qualities, most notably the refreshing green tea flavor that makes up the latter part of the flavor. If they do manage to dial down the berry flavor -- or replace it -- and perhaps reduce the level of sweetness, we think they've got a great product on their hands.Reviewed on: 8/28/2007
