Product Type: Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12oz glass
BevNET Review: The second flavor that we tested of the two additions to the Virgil's brand was Cream Soda. Like the other flavors, the ingredients are pretty simple and, as a result, has a very natural and super-premium flavor. The sweet vanilla flavor is extremely rich and creamy, with notes of real vanilla throughout. Given that this is a full fledged CSD that spares nothing in the name of quality, it's high on calories and carbs, but this isn't the type of soft drink that most people are going to consume every day. It does, however, set the bar for which all other cream sodas will be judged by. Our only gripe with this product is the packaging and the Virgil's name -- it still means root beer in our minds. Still, this is a well done product that will definitely satisfy anyone looking for a top notch micro CSD.
