BevNET Review: Despite the many warnings that covered the can (for adults only, not suitable for diabetics and people sensitive to caffeine, and "there is absolutely no scientific evidence that "Virgin Energy" is an aphrodisiac"), we enjoyed this beverage. This beverage claims to restore lost power and energy with its herbal contents. We expected it to be some sort of thick concoction (maybe it is because of its resemblance to a can of Yoo-Hoo?), but it is actually very light and refreshing. It was very sweet and it does have a lot of caffeine. We here at the BevNET! wish that they sold this beverage in the United States. Oh yeah, it did give us a sugar rush...that must be the "restoration of energy" that they talk about on the back of the can. Try it if you can get it. Reviewed on: 5/6/2001

BevNET Review: Virgin Hi-Energy "High Intensity" Energy Drink is a sweet citrus flavored beverage that will give you a boost of energy. Featuring a variety of unique ingredients, including passion fruit extract, ginseng, vitamin B6, and more, this product is definitely not your ordinary energy drink. Virgin Hi-Energy is definitely one of the better tasting energy drinks out there -- and we are very pleased to see someone using juice in their formulation.
