BevNET Review: Enhanced with chromium, citramax, and L-carnitine, Vital's Burn variety is a classic weight loss beverage. Like other functional products that we test, we can't vouch for their efficacy. However, for having only 15 calories per serving (about 38 per bottle), it drinks quite well. Although it's not really an acai berry flavor, it's still decent enough, quenching your thirst and giving just a dash of sweetness. Packaging is the biggest area for improvement with this product. As it currently stands, we're not convinced that the product is visually appealing enough in the overcrowded category that it is participating in. Reviewed on: 7/18/2007

Calm -- Guava

BevNET Review: With a nice touch of tropical fruit flavor, Guava is a good addition to this brand. We can't say that we really feel more calm from trying this product, but then again it was enjoyable to drink this product -- isn't a refreshing beverage calming? Anyway, we really do like the way this product drinks. It's clean and crisp, with just enough flavor to whet the appetite. Plus, we appreciate the low level of calories and carbs. However, like the other varieties, we'd like to see some packaging improvements, starting with the pale yellow used on the word "guava" on the front of the label.Reviewed on: 7/18/2007

Energize -- Dragon Fruit

BevNET Review: With only 15 calories per serving and no artificial sweeteners to boost taste, it's no surprise that this product drinks like water with a very mild splash of flavor. We found it hard to discern a dragon fruit taste from it, but honestly, we doubt consumers will notice. With 60mg of caffeine per bottle, there's not an overwhelming around of boost relative to the amount of liquid in the bottle. Still, we like the fact that this stuff actually drinks like water as opposed to the often over flavored products that make up the enhanced water category. Packaging, on the other hand, is very similar to competitors. Don't get us wrong -- it's a decent design. What it lacks, however, is something that really pops out at you. Reviewed on: 7/18/2007

BevNET Review: First of all, it seems a little redundant to have a product called Vitality as part of a brand called Vital Lifestyle Water, but we'll let that slight. The "citrus starfruit" flavor is basically an original take on lemon lime that has a bit more lime than lemon to it. The enhancements to the product are aloe vera, L-carnitine, and Gotu Kola, whose benefits could use a bit more explaining. Currently, it requires the consumer to read the side panel, which uses super small text. Overall, it drinks well, but we can't really gauge the functionality of the product. Reviewed on: 7/18/2007
