Despite having the same amount of sugar as the other two flavors, Fruit Punch 21 is the sweetest variety of Vitaminenergy's initial three. This is likely a good thing, especially for consumers who are used to many of the sweet energy drinks that are currently on the market. In essence, this product is a carbonated and energy-enhanced version of the Vitaminwater flavor of the same name. However, the addition of carbonation and "energy" elements makes a big difference and this product drinks extremely well, especially against other products in the category. And, of course, there's the can, which is the most obvious physical difference for the product. They've done a good job translating the simple branding of Vitaminwater over to Vitaminenergy, which certainly gives it a leg up on anyone else entering the category. Overall, a well executed, worthy addition to the crowded energy drink category.
