To answer the question that everyone’s been asking, this product does not taste as good as regular Vitaminwater XXX. However, it does taste better than just about every other low-calorie “vitamin enhanced water” that we’ve ever sampled. In this case, they’ve used a cocktail of crystalline fructose, erythritol, and rebiana (stevia) to achieve a modest level of sweetness and only slight sweetener aftertaste. The fruit flavorings are tart, but have a bit of bite, while added antioxidants and vitamins give the drink its advertised functional benefits. On the outside, the name Vitaminwater 10 is a clever and intuitive approach to creating “diet” without the stigma. However, the feeling of the label is quite flimsy, without explanation, and the product appears to have added clutter on top of what was already a busy label with the original. Overall, this product is, at least as far as stevia sweetened drinks go, one of the better low calorie alternatives to full-strength Vitaminwater.
