Using a sucralose-sweetened mixture of green tea that has been enhanced with vitamins, Vita-Tea’s Original Green Tea is a pretty enjoyable tasting product that also seems like a very timely entry. There’s a mellow green tea flavor to the mix, which is very easy to drink. The use of sucralose as the exclusive sweetener doesn’t seem ideal, but it doesn’t impact the overall drinkability of this product too much. In terms of vitamin content, they’ve added vitamin C and B vitamins, all of which are at modest levels. The formulation also includes a host of herbal ingredients, including Echinacea, ginseng, ginger extract, rosemary extract and more. Packaging is a stock 16.9 ounce bottle, which they’ve fully wrapped. The label is, in our opinion, something that could be improved upon, with a sterile feeling to the design (we’re not fond of the lines running across the package). Overall, we really like the concept, but cutting the sucralose and improving upon the design could take this drink to the next level.
