BevNET Review: With a cleaner and crisper flavor, the Diet variety of Volt is actually more impressive than its "regular" counterpart. The product relies on the popular blend of ace-k and sucralose, which gives the product a very natural level of sweetness and minimal aftertaste. A touch of fruit juice has been added, which may account for the product's unique citrus flavor, and they've also punched things up with caffeine, taurine, ginseng, and guarana. While the amounts aren't listed on the label, those additives should have some pull with the target consumer. Speaking of label design, the product has a very mainstream feeling to it, almost to the point where we'd expect a Coke or Pepsi to be behind it rather than a start up. Overall, an enjoyable diet CSD with the added benefits of energy.
