BevNET Review: Vermont Sweetwater's Country Apple Jack is a refreshing apple flavored soda that offers a nice blend of country style and high quality formulation. The apple flavor of the product is good but certainly not to be confused with sparkling apple juice. Instead, Country Apple Jack has a lightly sparkling body and a sweet finish that's all its own. BevNET Review: Mango Moonshine is another fine flavor of the Vermont Sweetwater brand. Like the others, it has very limited ingredients -- water, cane sugar, natural flavors, and citric acid. No colors or other tricky ingredients. The result? A clean and pure soft drink that tastes great. The mango flavor is pretty good -- it doesn't taste exactly like mango, but comes very close. In addition, the Vermont country look to the label is very nicely done. Overall, we'd definitely recommend that you try this product.Reviewed on: 12/23/2003

BevNET Review: Vermont Maple Soda is a truly classic New England style beverage. It's so simple in concept and near perfect in execution -- and the result is a product that we absolutely love. The product is made with two simple ingredients: carbonated water and maple syrup. This is the one case in beverage history where a syrupy consistency is actually a good thing -- you can really taste the maple syrup and it gives the beverage a nice body without all the calories and carbs. BevNET Review: Vermont Sweetwater's Raspberry Rhubarb is the first rhubarb flavored soda -- at least that we are aware of. Featuring cane sugar and natural flavors, the product is quite clean and refreshing. The rhubarb flavor is interesting -- it's kind of like a cross between a berry and a pepper type flavor. Either way, the product is quite refreshing. The only thing that seems a little odd to us is that the label looks like something that belongs on a dairy product. In any event, what's inside is quite good and the use of a long neck glass bottle will undoubtedly make soda lovers rejoice.Reviewed on: 12/23/2003

BevNET Review: Tangerine Cream Twister is Vermont Sweetwater's version of the ever-popular "orange creamsicle" soda. Their rendition is good and gets extra points for using cane sugar and no added coloring or preservatives. The flavor is light and generally pleasing in the mouth, with a slight aftertaste from the flavors. We like the classic Vermont style to the package and find this beverage perfect for the winter months. BevNET Review: We really like Kickin' Cow-Cola. From it's creative name to the clear formulation that is sweetened with cane sugar, this product offers many unique attributes. Aside from that, the flavor of the product is actually quite good. It's very clean and smooth and mild in sweetness compared to traditional colas -- and as a result Kickin Cow-Cola truly is refreshing. Aside from the use of phosphoric acid (this is the only flavor of the brand to do so), the product has a formulation that feels very pure compared to what we are used to.
