+ Show Product ReviewDragonfruit Kiwi (Vitamins)

Product Type:Water: Still; Container: 18 fl oz (532 ml) PET
BevNET Review: The Dragonfruit Kiwi flavor of Water Plus is definitely one of our favorites. The lightly sweetened flavor has a mild berry taste to it, with a finish that is reminiscent of Jell-o. While it might not taste like kiwi – and we doubt anyone knows what dragonfruit tastes like – the overall experience is delightful. Organic formulation is a plus from a marketability point of view, but it is questionable how much this actually improves the product. The label is good, but, largely in the manner of Glaceau, the product has a generic feel to it. We don’t mean that in a bad way though – this most definitely is a part of branding the potential efficacy of this product. Overall, a very enjoyable flavor in an appealing package.Reviewed on: 12/8/2006

+ Show Product ReviewFruit Punch (Electrolytes)

Product Type:Water: Still; Container: 18 fl oz (532 ml) PET
BevNET Review: The sweetest flavor of the Water Plus lineup is Fruit Punch which, despite having the same calories and carbs as the other flavors, provides the most potent and fruity flavor. The flavor is so potent, in our opinion, that this product drinks like a sports drink. And that’s perfectly fine by us, especially considering that this is an electrolyte drink. The flavor works well with the simplistic design of the bottle and label. Still, it’s the flavor that will keep us coming back for more – this is definitely our pick as the best of the brand.Reviewed on: 12/8/2006

+ Show Product ReviewOrange Tangerine (Extra-C)

Product Type:Water: Still; Container: 18 fl oz (532 ml) PET
BevNET Review: Water Plus’ Extra-C variety was the first flavor that we picked up. Most likely this was due to the orange color, which, we must admit, whetted our appetite as soon as we saw it. The flavor is sweet, but crisp, with a mild vitamin-like flavor rounding things out. At 50 calories and 13g of carbohydrates per serving, this is comparable to Glaceau Vitaminwater in terms of its nutritional makeup. Fortunately, they’ve managed to give the brand some personality of its own. The USDA organic certification is a plus, but more important is the vertical Water Plus logo, which emits vibes of “functionality” to the consumer. We’re never huge fans of vertical text, but at least they’ve made all of the front label text vertical, which saves the consumer from having to flip the bottle back and forth to read it. Overall, a good effort that feels original in terms of its appearance and is refreshing from start to finish.Reviewed on: 12/8/2006

+ Show Product ReviewAcai Berry (Antioxidants)

Product Type:Water: Still; Container: 18 fl oz (532 ml) PET
BevNET Review: Using the flavor of the trendy acai berry in an organic vitamin enhanced beverage makes sense, so we were looking forward to trying this product. While it doesn’t have a noticeable acai flavor (it is, after all, derived from flavorings rather than the actual juice) it does have a very drinkable berry/grape flavor. So it gets a passing grade, as it certainly led us to believe that this product packed some meaningful antioxidants. Like the other flavors, the packaging gets the job done, with the white color of the label providing a nice offset to the brightly colored fluid. Speaking of the brightly colored fluid, we might suggest that they dial the color down a bit – it seems to conflict with this product’s otherwise wholesome appearance.Reviewed on: 12/8/2006
