Unlike the other flavors that we sampled, Raw & Yummy D-Tox Tonic has only trace amounts of carbonation to it. Since the carbonation is the result of fermentation, that means this flavor also has lighter levels of fermented flavor compared to the other products that we sampled. As far as what’s inside this product, it’s a blend of water, young coconut water, rooibos, astragulas, yucca, burdock root, and agave nectar. The mixture is extremely flavorful, with notes of tea, coconut water, and agave mixing to create an earthy taste that has just a hint of sweetness. What’s even more impressive is that the 12 oz. bottle has just 45 calories and is loaded with vitamins, 3 g of fiber, and 2 g of protein. Packaging makes clever use of a bottle that’s typically used for condiments, but they’ve given the product a cool looking label that stands out from the many “crunchy” themed products that the drink will compete with. Our only constructive criticism is that the message needs to be delivered more succinctly and that it’s unclear what the brand name is. Overall, the drink itself is the full package, blending nutrition and flavor, but the outside needs a little cleanup.
