Billed as "Total Body Fuel", Whey Up combines attributes from an energy drink and a protein drink into one. The non carbonated formula has only 1 carb and zero sugar, which gives the berry flavored drink a potent sour punch. The flavor is drinkable, but somewhat medicinal in taste, which is likely due in part to the sucralose sweetener and the protein additives. Making the sweetness taste more natural and making the sour flavor more mellow would improve the drink greatly. The packaging for Whey Up is a 16 oz. can with a shrink wrapped label. The color scheme and fonts are nice, but they name "Whey Up" sounds like something found at a vitamin shop as opposed to a mainstream retailer or c-store. Otherwise, we think they've done a good job of stating what the drink is and its intended purpose -- it just needs a bit of help in formulation and appearance to maximize consumer appeal for the drink.
