White T is the most delicious soda in the world, and is made with rare white tea buds plucked from the very top of the tea plant. It contains up to five times more antioxidants than a cup of green tea (recent studies have shown that antioxidants help fight cancer, osteoporosis, aging, and cavities). White T also has 20% less calories and sugar than leading brands of sodas. With its antioxidant levels, White Tea has been proven to possess many health benefits that continue to be documented in major media reports, almost on a daily basis. For instance, the TODAY SHOW reported on August 6, 2003 that White Tea can significantly improve oral health because it suppresses the growth of cavity causing microbes and interferes with the bacteria’s ability to stick to teeth.

BevNET Review: The flavor of White T Lemon Lime is the most mainstream-tasting of the brand. Featuring a light lemon lime flavor sweetened with chicory syrup (a natural fructose made from chicory root), this product tastes just like any other lemon lime soda out there. This being said, it is clear to us that this product is not going to lure consumers with a high-end flavor -- it's going to have to rely on the consumer's interest in the benefits of white tea and/or the appeal to the design of the brand. As for the brand, the large white "T" catches the eye -- but we were left wondering if such a dark brand will click well with the type of consumer willing to try a tea-enhanced soft drink. Cola

BevNET Review: White T's Cola is a lightly sweet cola that has a slightly grass-like aroma and finish. We are, however, willing to overlook that part of the beverage as the overall taste of the product is pleasing and the benefits of the white tea are a plus. However, we think this product would taste significantly better if the cola flavor had a sharper body. The cola flavor is still much better than your standard fare cola (aka Coke and Pepsi) and the packaging and label design work well with the dark color of the cola. Also, we think the packaging looks a bit too generic when filled with the darker cola flavor. Overall, this product is good and definitely has an above average taste and appearance -- but some fine tuning of the flavor would definitely improve this beverage. Reviewed on: 1/16/2004

Raspberry Lemon Soda

BevNET Review: Raspberry Lemon Soda is a good tasting beverage -- but we think that it's too close to some of the other flavors. Specifically, this product tastes like they literally mixed the black cherry and the lemon lime flavors together. Generally speaking, a group of very similar just creates confusion and in this case, Raspberry Lemon just isn't adding a lot to this brand of soft drinks. If you try the Lemon Lime and the Black Cherry flavors, you'll find that this product is just a bit too washed out in comparison. Reviewed on: 1/15/2004

Black Cherry Soda

BevNET Review: Black Cherry White T was our favorite non-diet flavor of the product line. The product offers a lightly sweet cherry flavor that's a little lighter than your everyday black cherry soda. The combination of the cherry flavor and the white tea works well -- and we feel that this flavor will definitely click well with adult and child consumers alike. Beyond the flavor, the brand offers an edgy eye-catching appearance that will be hard to miss once you spot the large white "T" on the label (reminds us of the Honest Tea logo). Overall, the product is good and this flavor will definitely help grab repeat buyers to the White T brand.Reviewed on: 1/16/2004

Diet Cola

BevNET Review: White T Diet Cola is a decent beverage, but the product has a noticeable aftertaste. The aftertaste is likely the result of the Splenda and tea flavors. This being said, this product was somewhat difficult to drink. To compare it to a somewhat similar product, we'd much prefer this product if it had a stronger cola flavor like Diet Cricket Cola does. Overall, it is our opinion that this product is purely mediocre and could have clearly used a bit more time when creating the formula -- it just doesn't feel like a mature product.Reviewed on: 1/16/2004

Ginger Peach Diet Soda

BevNET Review: Ginger Peach Diet White T is some good stuff. The ginger and peach flavors do a great job of making the flavor of this product NOT taste like your ordinary diet beverage. Instead, the product offers a complex flavor that combines a sweet body with a clean and mildly spiced finish. The flavor of the tea is barely noticeable, but that's OK -- the flavor holds its own and puts this product in the top tier of diet beverages. Overall, we like this product a lot -- it's very unique and definitely gives the consumer a reason to come back and try this product again and again.Reviewed on: 1/16/2004
