i have heard from several places on line that this drink was rare but at my local supermarket has them they sell them for .50 and they seem to have an endless supply

Carbonated cough syrup, part Deux

While the BEVnet reviewers are rather charitable in calling this flavor fruity and bubblegum-like, they are right about it's similarity to Red Bull-- the original carbonated cough syrup flavored energy drink. I was not impressed with the taste or performance of Wired. Luckily, what I tried was a free bottle, so I didn't have to pay to suffer through it. I later tried another free sample bottle, but it was as bad as the first time. I'm also not impressed with the sugar, carb and caffiene levels, and it's a little weak on the B-vitamins and herbs.

Where's the energy in this energy drink?

Energymadness...a suggestion

energymadness, you seriously need to drink a Monster again because this does not taste like Monster at all. Wired tastes just like a Red Bull to me...which is not a good thing...it's difficult enough to swallow 8oz of Red Bull let alone 16oz. I think Monster has a much better taste than this garbage...

Bland.

Everything about this drink spelled "'generic" to me. The taste, the design, the fact that I found it sold at the dollar store. The taste was that very similar to Monster. I would not reccomend this drink, but I guess for a dollar the price is right for those who don't wish to shell out $2 for the usual 8 ounce can.
