BevNET Review: Survivor in Sync is X 24/7's "prickly pear soft lemonade" flavor. As the name implies, it's basically a very light lemonade flavor that has a prickly pear flavored finish. The use of sugar, fruit juice, and natural flavors gives this product a refreshing and flavorful body. Aside from the rather interesting choice of name, this product is definitely one of the better RTD juice cocktails made with 10% juice. In addition, the use of guarana and taurine help distinguish this product from the others competing for shelf space. Overall, a pretty good beverage. BevNET Review: Sunrise Start-up is a beverage that is formulated for the morning hours -- so what's more fitting than an orange, carrot, and mango formulation. Featuring 10% juice and sweetened with cane sugar, this beverage's most noticeable trait is its lack of a syrupy body (due to the use of cane sugar). Beyond that, the flavor tested relatively well -- the only feedback for improvement is that the finish tastes slightly off. As a result, the flavor may feel to strong to some consumers. BevNET Review: Spirit Energizer is X 24/7's berry lemon juice flavored beverage. Basically, that equates to a fruit punch type of flavor with more emphasis on berry flavors and a stronger lemon finish. It's a pretty refreshing -- albeit strong -- flavor. The use of cane sugar and the addition of vitamins, taurine, and guarana will undoubtedly make this product stand out. One thing we were a bit confused by is the branding of this product -- is it an energy drink or a juice cocktail? The branding seemed to send somewhat mixed messages in our test panels. BevNET Review: Sunset Mist is an orange and cream juice drink that features 5% juice and dairy ingredients. By using dairy, the orange and cream is definitely pretty natural tasting -- but we're just not sure that someone would be able to consume a full 20 ounces of this type of flavor. BevNET Review: Afternoon T-light is a spearmint green tea formulated with cane sugar, chamomile, ginseng, and echinacea. It's designed for what the company calls your body's "still zone" -- that is, the hours between noon and 4pm. Let's get to the taste. The beverage has a light green tea body with a sweet spearmint flavor. We found the spearmint flavor a bit too strong -- it tastes more like what we'd expect from chewing gum. Otherwise, the beverage is good -- the product has a smooth, clean body with no aftertaste. It definitely has much more of a conscience than many of the competiting products in the category. BevNET Review: Rush Hour Break is a passion fruit flavored green tea that features 10% juice. This flavor is a little stronger than the prickly pear, but stil lighter than most of the other flavors. It features a rather strong fruit flavor -- which is somewhat difficult to describe as it doesn't clearly resemble any one fruit (or green tea) for that matter. Instead, it has more of washed out flavor. The addition of the vitamins, taurine, and ginkgo are nice, but we'd really like to see a more distinct flavor.
