Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
YMA begins with water—carbonated water filled with tiny bubbles that contain novel fruit, spice and flower flavors. The water comes from a specific spring, which we will describe below. The spring that supplies the raw material for YMA dates back to the Roman Empire and High Middle Ages, and is located in Prahecq commune (about 200 kilometers from Bordeaux) in a place called "Belle Croix." In those days, the site was a therapeutic hot spring, a place where bathers could rest and relax. The studies of our geologists have done much to improve our understanding of how YMA water came to be. The water we drink today was first formed over 2,000 years ago, then made its way through its own natural filter, slowing purifying itself and acquiring its characteristic mineral qualities. Drawn from a depth of 110 meters, YMA water is protected from surface water tables by a thick layer of clay and a drilling break. Its resulting low level of mineralization and balanced composition delight consumers who have tasted it.

Apple and Cinnamon
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 11.2 fl oz glass
BevNET Review:
Apple and Cinnamon YMA is a very nice sparkling water that has a mild splash of apple and cinnamon flavor. With only 63 calories and 14g of carbohydrates per bottle, this product makes a great alternative to some of the artificially sweetened sparkling water products on the shelves today. The apple and cinnamon flavors are relatively clean tasting and provide just the right amount of sweetness to complement the sparkling water in this product. In addition, we like the proprietary glass bottle -- a very unique shape. About the only down side to this product is that they use artificial flavors -- why? The product could definitely be a true highend product if it were an all natural product.

Apple, Pear and Plum
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 11.2 fl oz glass
BevNET Review:
Apple, Pear, and Plum flavored YMA is definitely the best flavor in the brand. In a lot of ways this flavor is almost a high-end version of what Clearly Canadian produced about a decade ago. It has cane sugar, sparkling water, and "apple-pear-plum" flavor (whatever that is) which results in a product that has a very adult flavor. In addition, with the proprietary bottle the presentation is very nice and eye catching. Overall, we like the package, the flavor, and the use of cane sugar, but could definitely live without the use of artificial flavors.

Strawberry and Mint
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 11.2 fl oz glass
BevNET Review:
Strawberry & Mint has a flavor that brings back memories from the old days of Clearly Canadian. Unlike Clearly Canadian, this product uses cane sugar which means it has a very light consistency to it. However, the combination of artificial strawberry and mint flavors has created a poor result. As we've stated many times before, strawberry is one of the most artificial tasting flavors that can be used in a beverage, so it goes with out saying that we do not like the strawberry portion of the flavor. On to the mint flavor. Well, unless you like a beverage that has a flavor reminiscent of toothpaste, we recommend that you pass on this one. We'd expect a better flavor to come in such a nice looking package like this.
