Zevia: Natural Orange

BevNET Review: Any good diet soda line needs a well executed orange soda – it’s definitely one of those classic staples that you’d expect in a CSD line. For Zevia, the execution of this drink is quite good, with just the right amount of orange flavor, sweetness, and carbonation. While it lacks its own unique touch the way that the Ginger Ale or Root Beer flavors do, it’s still a very good tasting drink. However, the use of the stevia/erythritol blend to achieve a zero calorie formulation that’s all natural should suffice for most diet CSD drinkers. Plus, there’s something about an orange colored 12 oz. can that’s naturally appealing (at least to us). Overall, a cleanly executed product both in package and flavor.

not only is their orange soda great tasting, it also has a delicious creamy texture to it. it's the best-tasting orange soda i've ever had, and one of my favorites on the Zevia line. I hope they do well.

I need this in my local store

I love Zevia, but I can only find it at the health food store. I'd like to be able to get it at my local Safeway. People need to wake up to this excellent product.

Zero calories, but healthy...A First!!

I loved this product. I got it at a local store called Fairway. It is not as sweet as regular orange soda. I would say it tastes more like a diet orange drink. It is made from a true all natural sweetener called Stevia. No Aspertame, Splenda, Sucralose or other chemicals that may be harmful. No calories. Stevia comes from a plant and is not refined like sugar. For more info, look it up online. I am glad there is finally a zero calorie soda without the unhealthy chemicals in most diet drinks.

A classic

This is just like I rememeber enjoying as a kid, but without the sugar or artificial sweeteners. I do not notice any unpleasant aftertaste, just a classic orange soda taste. Highly recommended.

Zevia is GREAT!

I TOTALLY disagree with BEVNET's review! Trying to avoid any and all artificial sweetners, but not give up my soda habit, a friend suggested I try ZEVIA. Poured over ice, ZEVIA Orange is fantastic! I also enjoy ZEVIA Cola but Orange is my all time favorite. I just wish I could purchase ZEVIA in Southern California rather than have to have it shipped to me.

It tastes great on ice!!!

My daughter loves orange soda, but I worry about all those artificial sweeteners. I love the Cola Zevia, so I thought I would try out the Orange. My daughter LOVES IT! If a VERY VERY picky 8 year old gives it a thumbs up, it passes my test! (by the way, she also loves the Twist flavor which is a lemon-lime).

I love Orange Zevia!!!

As a former Diet Coke addict for 25 years, I was certain my transition to a healthier lifestyle meant I had to give up my soda habit forever. What a lose-lose choice: ingest dangerous excitotoxins like aspartame and splenda, or compromise with sugar/calorie-laden "regular" Coke whose taste I hate and which are far too expensive in terms of both my weight and my conscience. Thanks to the folks at Zevia, caring for my health no longer has to mean sacrificing taste OR spending my hard-earned money to support a company whose politics I loathe! I have been ordering online for six months now and let me tell you, this stuff is so good I have been HAPPY to pay shipping to get it all the way to Southern California. I can't put a price on having my soda back. The orange Zevia is such a refreshing surprise. I've never been a huge fan of orange soda; it tasted too sickly-sweet for me. But Zevia Orange has a zesty yet subtle flavor with no chemical aftertaste. I LOVE that the Zevia people refused to compromise and use artificial color in this drink! Just the right amount of carbonation. I drink Stevia in my coffee, so the aftertaste is even less noticeable to me than with powdered Stevia. I don't know what the original reviewer was thinking, but I wholeheartedly disagree with his or her assessment of this product. I am a RAVING fan of Zevia! The people at Zevia have been nothing short of wonderful to deal with. I can't wait until New Year's as some of my local stores are finally going to be carrying my favorite drink.

Great Alternative

A co-worker ran across Zevia at PCC and really enjoyed having an alternative to diet soda, which we all know is extremely harmful.....He gave me a can of the Natural Orange and it was a very refreshing surprise.. Being a Stevia user, myself I was happy to try a product that uses it in place of the many harmful artificial sweetners used in diet sodas...Zevia is a refreshing break from sodas... It's definately worth a try...

Orange you glad there's Zevia?

As someone who changed my diet to include whole foods and cut out preservatives and chemicals, I still found myself missing the carbonated beverages. When I looked at other natural sodas, they were still loaded with calories, and not worth it. I came across Zevia, and was blown away! The orange flavor reminds me of a less sugary sweet version of Orage Crush. AND, I know I am not putting something bad into my body. I LOVE IT!

Go Zevia!

Honestly, I have to disagree with this review. I have tried Zevia Orange and I like it a lot - and I'm not usually an orange soda drinker. The only reason I tried the orange was that Zevia Cola was sold out at PCC - the Northwest natural foods chain where I shop. No artificial sweeteners is a big deal! Stevia has been suppressed as a food additive by the artificial sweetener industry for many years. Not many people know it, but Donald Rumsfeld, working for a huge chemical company, was the one who pushed harmful aspartame through the system for FDA approval in the 80s. Go Zevia!!
