ZUN - Brain Boosting Energy
Last Updated: 4/22/2009 2:00 PM
With a bottle that’s been designed to look like a rocket ship, ZUN is unquestionably one of the more eye catching looking drinks that we’ve seen in a while. However, we wonder if they’ve gone too far to the point where the product will be misconstrued as a novelty drink. Billed as a “brain boosting energy” drink, the product features a “top secret” flavor which tastes like a watermelon base with a touch of berry to it. It’s sugar sweetened, which, paired with the mellow fruit flavor, helps make it very drinkable and light in your mouth. As a result, ZUN is one of the better tasting energy drinks that we’ve had in a while. Functionality comes in the form of caffeine, gingko, choline, tuarine, and coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), which has been added to help one’s memory. Of course, we can’t evaluate this secondary function, but we did feel an energy boost from the caffeine that’s in this drink (100mg per bottle). Overall, this is a very unique looking and tasting product that scores high on almost every technical aspect.
