The Position:

Laguna Liquid Juice Beverages is seeking a highly talented sales individual based in Southern California who brings significant ambition, strong skills of persuasion and confidence in public speaking to help us maximize sales within the Southern California marketplace.

We are seeking a candidate to perform sales calls to foodservice locations. The position requires a self-motivated, organized and outgoing person with proven beverage or food sales experience, especially in a direct store delivery (DSD) environment.

Principal Responsibilities:

Call on and sell our brand to foodservice retailers.

Develop and maintain an organized list of sales prospects and accounts.

Gain new points of distribution.

Educate stakeholders on category and effective merchandising.

Participation in special events, trade shows and other marketing activities on behalf of the brand.


Ability to formulate sales call strategies and execute against them.

Meet company sales goals and key performance indicators.

Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).

Creative presentation/public speaking and premium selling skills are a must.

Maintain high level of communication throughout the organization.

Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding key performance indicators (KPI’s).

Professional demeanor in working with co-workers, distributors, retail decision makers and consumers.

Beverage and/or food sales experience.

Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle to travel and occasionally transport promotional merchandise and minimal product quantities between accounts.

Must have a clean driving record, registration and insurance.

Must be able to use basic features in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Must have high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Pre-employment background and medical examinations are additional requirements for hire.

Physical Work Environment:

May occasionally lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

Probationary Period:

  • Purpose:   The probationary period is a part of the examination process. It is a work-test period during which the employee’s performance and conduct on the job are evaluated to determine whether or not the employee is fully qualified for permanent appointment.
  • Length of Probationary Period:  The probationary period for all eligible candidates appointed from an open competitive examination and who are not currently employed in a permanent position shall be on probation for ninety (90) days before attaining permanent status.
