Logistics and Supply Chain Director

Sudbury MA based Drink Maple Inc. is looking for a team-oriented individual to join its customer service in-house operations.  This position is responsible for providing superior customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of all activities.  The position requires hands-on involvement in all critical Logistics and supply chain activities such as order processing, shipping logistics, customer support, inventory management, co-packer communication, data analysis, and cross-functional communication, as well as all consumer response activities.  It is understood that this position will play a key role in - and be accountable for - achieving annual company goals as they pertain to sales, margin, customer service, and consumer satisfaction/retention.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ensures all customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain effective communication with Sales team to ensure customer issues/challenges are handled in proper manner
  • Work with accounting group to ensure any finance related issues (e.g., order discrepancies, credit holds, pricing, etc.) are addressed and resolved as needed.
  • Achieve overall corporate as well as specific functional goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve procedures and policies that add value to the business
  • Maintain all necessary customer data records both on and off ERP system
  • Ensure consumer satisfaction through timely response to all email and telephone inquiries.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

Logistics and supply chain experience in a consumer food or beverage company is a plus.  Candidate will need to possess the ability to rapidly develop an in-depth knowledge of company products and business operations. The position requires team and individual leadership skills as well as a strong sense of urgency in all matters related to the health of the business.

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Some  Customer Service experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a company with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial/non-structured environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as web-based applications
  • Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise and Acctivate mrp/inventory management software a plus
  • Ability to work weekends or extended hours as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 Position will be based in Sudbury, MA. Or in Buffalo, NY  Position will require only minimal travel (less than 5%).
