The CB's Premium Nuts, Inc. Sales Manager will work closely with the President/Marketing Director to further the development, sales and promotion of CB’s Nuts flagship products and build brand loyalty both nationally and at store broker and store level. The Sales Manager will have a key role in driving company revenue and growth acceleration.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Develop new business and cultivate relationships with potential customers to determine product needs and competitive intelligence

  2. Establish meaningful relationships throughout the trade with Broker, Distributor and Customer Management

  3. Broker, distributor and Customer Management

  4. Conduct weekly sales and merchandising calls on current and targeted new accounts

  5. Proven ability to call and close key accounts

  6. Thoroughly Complete New Customer Form on all new accounts and submit to Accounts Payable Manager

  7. Maximize business opportunities striving to maintain 100% product distribution and effectively utilizing available resources, sales & marketing strategies, trade shows, and the like

  8. Direct broker efforts in the execution of the Company Sales & Marketing Plan

  9. Direct broker efforts in new product launches

  10. Secure critical market information and customer reports

  11. Maximize existing business opportunities (Distributor and Retail Customers) striving to achieve sales growth targets

  12. Identify accounts that can be maximized with sampling and execute in store demos

  13. Execute promotional planning

  14. Confirm promotion plan with customer in a timely manner

  15. Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Production and Finance team to ensure the customers experience is the highest quality interactions with the brand

  16. Work with procurement and inventory to ensure product availability for all sales fulfillment with close attention to new customers & new product launch

  17. Review and analyze monthly data to review performance, maximize efficiencies and increase sales opportunities

  18. Review and monitor Bill Backs

  19. Manage and monitor results of demo subcontractors

  20. Participate in demos and trade shows as needed

  21. Collaborate with Marketing to create and deliver effective sales presentations and sales kits to educate the retail customer and targeted influencers via media kit

  22. Participate in daily marketing and sales meetings with Supervisor

  23. Communicate clearly and efficiently with Supervisor, Production Manager and other departments as needed for effective coordination and collaboration

  24. Schedule approximately 25% of time per month in field to:

  • Provide store group support via a standardized thoughtful process of what stores we need to touch

  • Drop samples after 1st contact
