Summary: BevNET is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for 40 hours per week to help with digital marketing efforts, including social media.

BevNET.com, Inc. is the leading media company serving both the multi-billion dollar non-alcoholic beverage and natural food space, as well as the booming craft beer industry. While we've been in business for 20 years, BevNET is still a young company that works hard and has fun doing it. Our office is casual and laid back, but our team is tightly knit and focused on growth. We are business to business (B2B) media organization that produces a variety of products, including digital content, video, print, and live events. Our work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, but also casual and fun (our office features a craft beer bar and an unlimited supply of beverages)

Our company is growing and we're seeking someone to help out with various digital marketing tasks. We're looking for someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset, lots of energy and a go-getter attitude, loves taking on new challenges, and works well with others. An interest in/passion for the food and beverage industry is a big plus.
The position will be located in our San Diego, CA office.
Creating, posting, and monitoring social media content: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter
Maintain social content calendar
Manage overarching communications calendar
Ideate on next generation of social and advertising content
Manage house ad implementation and scheduling
Outreach to brands and podcast participants
Pulling digital and social marketing reports and make recommendations as appropriate
Assist in creating / maintaining products and promotional material: websites, sales tools, media kits, promo cards, digital magazine, etc.
Assist with writing and creating email marketing campaigns
Assist with creating Adwords search and display campaigns
Assist with creating Facebook ad campaigns
Assist with upkeep of contact lists
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
0-2 years experience (relevant internships qualify)
Social media native. Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and interest in new media properties.
Creative thinker who knows how to communicate their ideas
Experience growing social following
Google Apps, and other standard applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to try new things.
Know how or learn how to: ask for help or say no
Ability to pick up new tasks quickly and work with minimal supervision
Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in and get stuff done
Nice to have: experience working with designers or design experience
Competitive salary or hourly rate based on experience and availability (full-time preferred)
