      so it seems coke wants to emphasize the name "coca-cola" more recently. they're even insisting on renaming their drinks so that "coca-cola" is the first word on the packaging. diet coke being the exception; but, who knows, maybe we'll be seing "diet coca-cola" on the packaging soon.

        and japanese Sprite will change its label also next March 19, I will be like the american one...



        and also they will return the dimple bottle design...

          Coca-Cola is far too recognized as a symbol to be translated into Japanese. Granted, they have the hang tags in the grocery stores and convenience stores that have it written in katakana, but the logo is key.

          When I was living in Japan in 2004, I thought C2 was a Japan only release since it came out while living there. Two months after I got back I started seeing it in Michigan, though.

          On an unrelated note, Pepsi Blue was still on sale in Japan in summer 2004.
