    RC Draft

I miss my beloved RC Draft.

I remember the first time I tried to buy it, the cashier at the Winn Dixie tried to card me.

That's when I knew that drink would be something special. (And when I realized some of the cashiers at the Winn Dixie were a few Cokes short of a six-pack.)

ETA: Dr. Nehi is another drink that I very much miss. A Georgia BBQ joint served it on tap in mason jars. Never had anything else quite like it. I only saw it available in cans once. (And it was the only 6-pack available. At this particular grocery store, one never took the last six pack. There was always a reason it was the last six pack...)

i thought "inca cola" was the communist rebels alternative to the "gringo capitalist pigs" coca-cola.

is that right? is that how it got started?

hmm. i wonder if they made a diet or zero version of inca cola...?

I miss Lift Golden Citrus Cola.

As for the Cheerwine/cola debate, Cheerwine included the base syrup from a drink called Mint Cola.

Mint Cola was the base in Cheerwine?

Hmm, then that would kind of make it a cherry cola..Score one for me....

LOL, In my opinion Cheerwine tastes kinda like Dr. Pepper red fusion but better and stronger cherry flavor.

By the way jdavies what part of Mpls are you from? We both hail form the land of lakes.
