  • who remembers these sodas?

Pepsi and Coke weren't the first with the lemon twist.. RC, once again, pioneered that yrs ago:

The MD Sport.. I also have a Diet version of this somewhere...

What did MD Sport taste like?

Was it MD and gatorade like stuff?

I remember ads for a drink called Sport, but that was in the 1960's, and I thought it was a Canada Dry product.
Life is too short to drink crummy sodas...

I would also love a Rondo. I do not see why some Independant bottler does not pick it up or try to buy the rights to it.

I had no idea RC came out with the lemon cola first. I know they were the first to introduce the caffeine free cola, it was called RC 100.

Rondo was not a Coca-Cola product. I am not sure who owned the brand name but it was francised out to any bottler that wanted it. I remember seeing it bottled by what was Joyce Beverages (Select) and Coca-Cola Mid-America.

Rondo came to those of us lucky enough to have tried it by the folks at Schweppes!

                  Does anyone remember the commercials?

Wasn't it very testosterone-y in which a guy crushes the can with his hand?

Do a internet search and you should be able to find a file of the old commercial.
