Review: Living Greans (2011)

This flavor of KeVita is their phytoalgae superfood drink, which is added to their base probiotic content. From a flavor perspective, this is a very drinkable offering, but it’s probably not the starting point for people who are new to this type of product. Like the Matcha Green Tea variety, this product has a smooth earthy note that helps hide the vinegar flavors that hit your palate during the finish. It’s lightly sweet and effervescent, which makes for an experience that’s balanced but complex. On the outside, the 16 oz. bottle looks like something that’s going to be good for you, especially with the dark green liquid that’s inside the bottle. The front panel has a lot of text crammed below the logo, which makes it hard to quickly grasp what this product is all about. But still, it feels like a quality drink and something that’s healthy for you. Overall, what’s inside the bottle is well-executed, but the outside could use some polish.
