One of Pressed Juicery’s seasonal offerings for Summer 2015, this sweet and spicy product is loaded with flavor. It starts out with some slight sweetness from the greens, but from there the product quickly switches over to the sweetness from the apples and the heat of the jalapeno. Finally, the yuzu adds a slight citrus note to the finish. However, as you continue to drink the product, the heat really starts to takeover. It’s not overly spicy, but it lingers, which in turn changes how subsequent sips of the product taste. All in all, this is a very refreshing product that definitely works as a seasonal offering. Nutritionally, the product has 140 calories and 24g of sugar per 16 oz. bottle and contains vitamin A, vitamin c, calcium, and iron. Packaging is the same plastic bottle that’s used throughout the Pressed line. The minimalist style label is well-executed and appealing. Like many cold-pressed juice companies, the product doesn’t have a name, but instead uses the list of ingredients to differentiate it from the others. This does make it slightly difficult to remember which flavor is which, especially as the company adds more flavors. Overall, a very enjoyable and well-executed product.
