Melloul, who overseas these investments for Verlinvest, will discuss a variety of topics that are near and dear to any beverage company seeking capital, including the criteria for investment, when they invest, and when they exit. In addition, he’ll speak about what it’s like to work with Verlinvest, why Verlinvest likes the beverage industry, and share stories about good and bad experiences that they’ve had in the industry.

About Eric Melloul
Eric Melloul is managing Verlinvest’s investments in beverages and consumer products, and serves as a board member or observer of several portfolio companies.

Eric worked for Citibank corporate finance in NY and London and spend over 5 years as an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Co leading the consumer practice and advising leading food and beverage companies in Europe, US, and the Middle East.

In 2004, he joined Inbev as VP strategy overseeing M&A and global brands before assuming responsibility for marketing and commercial operations in China in 2005.

Eric holds an MBA/MPA from Harvard University and BSC from the London School of Economics.
