Position Scope: The VPS will work closely with the CEO and CFO building growth strategy, driving sales growth and expand market share in all channels. The VPS main priority is selling and executing the brand strategy and initiatives-

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior management; continuing to develop and execute distribution strategy in a wide variety of channels including supermarket, specialty, natural, convenience, club, drug, alternative.
  • Achieve budgeted volume, profit, market share and category growth goals.Establish and communicate monthly sales, new customer acquisition and distribution plan.
  • Manage assigned accounts: present items, establish promotion calendars, manage trade spend, analyze turns and promotion results.
  • Highly organized with good time management skills and an astute attention to detail.
  • Required Education, Experience, Qualification  BS/BA/MBA degree
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales within a CPG company (confection preferred)
  • Experience in the Natural, Specialty and Grocery Channel with CPG selling background in center store and current relationships in place highly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen to establish and manage gross sales goals, margin and promotional budgets
  • Proficient in Data Tools (SPINS, Retailer & Distributor Portals)
  • Proven track record of setting clear, measurable goals, tracking progress against them, and attaining high levels of sales success.
  • Established relationships and demonstrated success working with key retail accounts as well as with brokers and distributors servicing these channels
  • A driven, tenacious,and entrepreneurial personality with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong financial acumen to establish and manage gross sales goals, margin and promotional budgets
  • Proficient in Data Tools (SPINS, Retailer & Distributor Portals)
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Clean driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance

Work from home office, with convenient access to major airport.

Ability to travel (25-50%)
