POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a craft beer enthusiast to join our team in a sales role. You will work alongside our Founders to build the company’s culture and all facets of its business operations. You will gain experience in sales, logistics, and business management. A successful candidate in this role will have the opportunity to significantly expand his or her responsibilities as the company grows.
Responsibilities include establishing relationships with on-premise and off-premise retail accounts, soliciting orders from retail accounts, scheduling and execution promotional events, attending beer industry events and festivals to represent Craft Collective and/or our brands, ensuring proper stock rotation at our retail accounts, and handling customer service inquiries from retail accounts.
Other responsibilities may include assisting in supplier business development efforts, assisting in the development of order taking and inventory software, helping to identify and improve general business processes, and assisting with the development of corporate and brewery marketing campaigns.
DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS: Develop new account relationships. Demonstrate knowledge of our product portfolio to beer buyers and employees of retail accounts we serve. Successfully sell and ensure placement of Craft Collective products. Respect the beer — treat all product you handle as if it were beer you would be drinking. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Handle customer inquiries. Organize and execute floor displays. Follow Craft Collective’s Code of Conduct.
Work schedule is full-time, generally 8-5PM M-F, with work necessary on some nights and weekends.
PREREQUISITES: College Degree. Craft beer industry sales experience preferred but not necessary. Access to a vehicle that you are willing to use for business purposes. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs consisting of cases and kegs. Dexterity needed to bend, stand, lift, and twist repeatedly.
