PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage Co-Packing relationship for adult beverage to insure production runs are consistent, to specification and to budget.

  • Perform and coordinate all raw material purchasing for the product and insure all raw inventory is readily available for Co-Packer on date of production run.

  • Develop strong relationships with vendors to consistently push for highest quality, lowest cost and just in time inventory.

  • Work cross functionally with Sales to insure demand planning and production load are well balanced.

  • Develop thorough understanding of distribution network and coordinate all logistics to distributors.

  • Work cross functionally with accounting to insure adequate internal controls are in place for purchase and inventory function.

  • Responsible for all raw and finished goods inventory balances to insure adequate stock levels are kept at all times.

  • Be willing to travel to insure procurement of quality materials and finished goods to specifications.

  • Ability to scale operations either through existing co-packing relationships or by doing the necessary due diligence to uncover  other co-packing opportunities.

  • Fulfill all regulatory compliance issues related to the production of adult beverages and insure timely filings.

  • Manage all relationships with FG warehousing and transportation. 

  • Report to the Board of the Company

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of production protocols, QA/QC, logistics and procurement

  • Prior experience (5+ years) in the CPG industry or adult beverage industry preferred

  • Solid understanding of budget development and management

  • Strong cost accounting familiarity as it relates to the bill of materials

  • Must be entrepreneurial in nature

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence change and encourage action

  • Pro-active and anticipatory.  Recognizing opportunities and/or problems well before they happen.

  • Solution oriented.  Must have the ability to recommend solutions for situations

  • Analytical – ability to “crunch numbers” to deliver optimal solutions in an explainable format

  • Excellent relationship building skills.  Must be able to get along with a variety of people in varied positions.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives on tight deadlines.

  • Ability and willingness to respond to after hours calls for critical issues and provide weekend coverage as needed
