Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Space Planning software to develop, sell and execute recommendations and proposals that have a significant impact on both our customers' and the company's volume and profit.
  • Accountable for attainment of reset quantity goals, new distribution targets and space goals as defined by Director of Space Planning.
  • Manage the implementation of shelf set projects for regional chain accounts and key-volume independents.
  • Participate in local chain buyer calls to sell-in category-focused solutions.
  • Work with Director of Space Planning, Sales Directors and GMs to ensure company personnel are present at store-level resets and execution is completed to the satisfaction of the chain customer. Lead in-store execution of resets at independent accounts.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training and education program that build's individual competencies on specialized space planning software, syndicated data, and category management insights.
  • Manage individual expense to budget.
  • Enforce all liquor laws according to state law and regulations regarding product sales.
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.

  • Preferred Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's or advanced degree
    • High School diploma or GED required


    • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required


    • Minimum of two (2) years previous beverage industry sales experience


    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers
    • Ability to build presentations and develop business reviews utilizing standard computer software programs
    • Demonstrate flexibility in overcoming problems and personalities
    • Ability to focus and work cross functionally across many levels of organization
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

    Physical Requirements:

  • Lift/Carry and Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Bend/Stoop/Crouch/Squat
  • Use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
  • Use of industry tools: hand truck, six wheeler, manual pallet jack, box cutter
  • Ability to travel throughout the day for visits to customer accounts
  • Work indoors with frequently walking in customer accounts
