National Accounts Manager

We are recruiting a National Accounts Manager, preferably based in the Boston area. The National Accounts Manager position is an integral role at LHBCo, with four key responsibilities:

  • Open new national accounts
  • Grow partnerships with existing national accounts
  • Earn features and displays in national accounts
  • Support new territory launches with proactive national account efforts
  • You will be responsible for existing LHBCo territories as well as identifying and winning key national account opportunities in new markets as we launch them. You will be supported by, and expected to contribute to, data-based account plans and growth strategies, and you will have the opportunity to help shape the LHBCo sales toolkit.

    Responsibilities:

    Ultimately, the National Account Manager is responsible for growing the volume of LHBCo beers sold through national accounts. In order to grow LHBCo volume, some specific activities you will be responsible for include:

    ? Growing partnerships with existing national accounts 
    ? Identifying national accounts decision makers
    ? Identifying unique needs of each chain customer and developing a tailored sales pitch
    ? Presenting the LHBCo product value propositions (quality, economy, etc.) to national accounts
    ? Developing specific account action plans to maximize long term account sales
    ? Coordinate chain account activation with territory sales team and distributor partners 
    ? Utilizing customer segmentation analyses to prioritize sales efforts
    ? Continuously improving LHBCo national account sales processes and collateral
    ? Engaging new accounts to earn initial placements 
    ? Documenting account sales effort information into CRM system

    Qualifications:
    At a minimum, the National Account Manager must have the following qualifications:
    ? Preferably be based in the Boston metro area
    ? Have 5+ years of experience selling beer to national accounts
    ? Experience building and executing national account sales proposals (e.g. Powerpoint)
    ? Comfortable traveling ~ 25% 
    ? Have excellent organization and communication skills
    ? Have a desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company 
    ? Have ability to maintain professionalism during and after the consumption of alcohol 

    Compensation:
    We offer a competitive salary and bonus compensation package based on your qualifications and sales success. The National Accounts Manager will have a generous expense account to make sure they are not out-of-pocket for appropriate sales expenses.
