Position Summary:

This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing and promotional programs in keeping with the overall brand strategy, specifically for Off Premise channels/customers. The channels would include: Off Premise chains (grocery, mass, drug, club, liquor, C-store and convenience) & independent retail customers. This person would work closely with other members of the Marketing and Sales Teams.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Field Sales & Head Quarter (HQ)

Communicates and executes all off premise programs to the sales as well as provides feedback from field to HQ on competitive activity, custom programs and effectiveness of Brand programs executed to Brand Team.

•             Advises field and HQ on the execution of programs in the off-premise channels to ensure programs deliver on the Brand strategy and brand objectives.

•             Develops the planning calendar/process for off premise programming with brand team and key sales stake holders to allow proper lead time for implementation of programs giving Brand a clear competitive advantage.

•             Participates in distributor meetings to ensure alignment between sales and marketing objectives and to ensure that shopper tools are being used efficiently and correctly.

•             Manages off premise shopper budget.

•             Reviews all off premise program effectiveness and provides analysis for return on investment to brand team.

National Accounts

•             Works closely with VP Of Operations and Account Managers to develop account specific custom programs that drive customer and shopper solutions.

•             Creates account programming around gaps in programming calendar to drive sales and velocity at retail.

•             Customizes brand programing to create line activation for grocery, mass, drug, club, c-store and convenience.

Customer

•             Develops marketing promotions for individual customers that follow customer’s trade marketing practices.

•             Develops “Perfect Store” standards across all retail touch points and effectively communicates and implements these standards across the organization.

•             Identifies opportunities & trends and provides competitive assessments.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

·                     5 years brand/trade marketing experience, preferably in beverage, CPG or related industry

•             Experience working with chain customers and buyers

•             Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills

•             Strong interpersonal skills and customer service standards. Effectively works within and between teams

•             Ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced environment; flexible

•             Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

•             Travel as required
