General Description of Role
We’re looking for a creative savvy social media marketing expert to develop and execute a strong social media strategy; a compelling storyteller who can develop impactful content, identify and engage influencers in the food space and generate class A design. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Be the passionate brand advocate for Eat Your Coffee.
Develop, manage and execute a robust social content calendar across all platforms.
Manage a blogger team and personally generate engaging content that promotes SEO.
Manage the production of all social media visuals.
Manage and increase community relationships, engaging with followers, friends and customers across all platforms.
Develop and manage a robust Brand Ambassador program.
Establish and manage relationships with key Influencers in the food space to leverage campaigns and build brand awareness.
Write and place compelling press releases and distribute products to key food editors/writers/product reviewers.
Monitor and optimize trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong project management skills.
Experienced photographer, especially food photography.
Knowledge of key influences relevant to current food trends in new products.
Video editing and basic design skills for social media.
Excellent writing and language skills – published writing samples are required.
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media.
Responsible self-starter and ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity in a self-directed way when needed.
Creative problem solver, able to multi-task and manage timelines to meet deadlines.
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
Maintains a working knowledge of SEO.
Attention to detail.
Responsive, ability to work quickly with short turnaround time
