Mill 95 is Idaho’s first hops pelletizing operation.  We bring brewers and hop farmers together so that they can create drinkable works of art. Brewers get the hops they need, and farmers can grow the varietals that brewers want. Our hop roots run deep in Idaho, but they also run wide, in taps around the world. We believe the spirit of beer is in the hops. And while not a necessity for life, hops are one of the essential building blocks of good times.   We are thrilled to start-up our Wilder, Idaho operation and are seeking a Marketing Associate to develop and execute our plan to maximize capacity for productive, market-facing interaction. In this role, your primary objective is to create and advance the marketing plan and provide top-class  sales and order fulfillment support.  We are looking for an energetic team member that loves the idea of a start-up business and marketing function, is an action-taker who is wired to dive in, no matter the goal or task, and considers managing unforeseen work issues, competing and changing priorities a fun and challenging day.  Duties include:

In alignment with the company vision, advance marketing specific initiatives related to:

  • Brand equity including creative agency strategy and management
  • Market research and segmentation on both current and probable future needs
  • Market differentiation
  • Portfolio composition, positioning and development

Handle sales support and follow-through regarding:

  • Lead generation through traditional and contemporary means, qualification, engagement, conversion and follow-through
  • Continuing development for key targets, near misses, and recoverable losses
  • Event planning, execution and measurement (on-site, local functions, trade events, tours)

Execute sales fulfillment function:

  • Customer service operating requirements planning and design
  • Internal coordination, communication and execution to assure positive defining service experiences
  • High touch ongoing accessibility and engagement

Requirements include:

  • B.S. Degree in Marketing, Business or related field plus 2-4 years’ experience in marketing role or an equivalent combination thereof
  • Experience with business-to-business commerce, campaign and creative agency management
  • Passion for hops and the craft brew industry, customer focus, project management and details
  • Technical capacity to include Microsoft Office products, CRM tools, and ERP systems
  • Consumer market goods and agricultural industry experience preferred
