The Forbidden Root sales rep, reports to our Director of Sales, and is a key part of our team, maintain and developing relationships with Chicago-area retailers and our distributor partners.


DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop strategic partnerships with key retailers and restaurants.

  • Communicate with distributor partners on new product and seasonal releases.

  • Review target account analysis and sales reports and manage retail inventory levels

  • Coordinate brand information, supply POS material, and keep lines of communication open with state’s wholesaler network in order to better sell through products.

  • Assist in managing brand ambassador program.

  • Assist with out-of-market promotions, events, and festivals on evenings and weekends as necessary.

  • Assist with tasting and samplings at key retail accounts.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years sales experience in craft beer in Chicago

  • Strong verbal communication and relationship building skills.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Must have the ability to lift and move 50 lbs. on own, and move up to 165 lbs. with assistance

  • Competency in basic computer applications; Microsoft Office programs, VIP helpful.
