Proud to be named one of the fastest growing private companies in the Bay Area in 2017, Fort Point Beer is shaking up the Bay Area beverage scene one 6-pack at a time. We are looking for an ambitious and hungry salesperson to develop our South Bay territory in a hybrid sales role (on and off-premise accounts).

The South Bay Sales Representative will focus on rapidly building a healthy territory from the ground up. Responsibilities include developing customer relationships, represent the brand at events, maintain and expand business within the existing account base, assist in A/R collection and other sales/marketing initiatives. Fort Point Beer Company also encourages our small, agile team to develop new projects and innovations on behalf of a growing brewery within a $100 billion industry.


  • Build and cultivate a comprehensive sales territory of bars and restaurants in the South Bay territory which would include San Jose, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, Santa Clara, Campbell, and Cupertino.
  • Proactively manage portfolio of current accounts, expanding relationships and maximizing opportunities within existing client base
  • Achieve revenue and sales goals through new business opportunities and increased current account sales
  • Ensure account and customer satisfaction through friendly service and ongoing communication


  • Brainstorm and partner with Fort Point event team (tap takeovers, beer festivals, beer dinners and tastings)
  • Troubleshoot draft system maintenance for accounts as needed
  • Deliver beer on a one-off or 11th hour basis
  • Explore best practices and own new projects on behalf of the brewery
  • Work closely with AR team to keep accounts current


  • Great knowledge about the South Bay bar and restaurant scene
  • Previous industry experience of 1-2 years preferred
  • Passion for beer and the growing craft beer industry
  • Dynamic, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced start-up style environment
  • Courteous, professional and polished demeanor

  • Ability to lift, push and/or pull 35lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to push, pull and manipulate 165lbs
