We are looking for someone to join our team and lead our new marketing efforts, with an emphasis on OWNING our social media strategy.  We need a brand savvy, entrepreneurial individual to lead our social media channels.  This person will be in charge of photography, manage agencies, setting our KPI’s, and analyzing our growth. 

The right candidate lives for social media and is a wiz at creating content, has a love for photography, can work with limited resources and always looking to create something new.

Social Media

Perform all duties associated with being the Social Media Community Manager

  • Develop and execute social media strategy to increase consumer engagements and total audience in line with marketing team goals set by Director of Marketing

  • Develop monthly social media content calendar to execute content strategy across all major platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest)

  • Oversee activity, tools, reporting/analytics, ad campaigns and analysis of all relevant data (including Google Analytics), respond to engagements in a timely manner

  • Develop monthly strategy across all brands including social sampling and monthly contests- track and fulfill success

  • Negotiate, develop creative for, execute and ROI/wrap-up for social co-promotions with relevant, key brand partners as agreed upon by Director of Marketing

  • Stay mindful of changes to current social platforms and other social opportunities for relevancy to HD! Brands, our industry, and our consumer base

  • Monitor competitor activity across social platforms for insights

  • Support and execute creative content tie-in with retailer events and promotions, retail, broker and customer when needed as approved by Director of Marketing

  • Support PR agencies, digital marketing agencies, field marketing activities, to align social media with other channels

  • Identify monthly goals for posting frequency, total audience growth and key engagement metrics. Report monthly on these analytics to meet or grow KPI’s

Consumer Response

Responsible for being the central point of contact for all consumers for our social media inquiries (across all social platforms) and consumer reviews.

  • Monthly reporting on consumer inquiries, suggestions and complaints to the appropriate department (marketing, R&D, QC)

  • Maintain tracking of all consumer inquiries

  • Ensure completion and follow-up on all inquiries, particularly those where a consumer complaint has been filed to ensure customer receives their replacement product or coupon

Provide additional support to marketing team as needed for field marketing/events, social media, PR agencies (both US and International), etc.

Experience and skill set     

  • College degree

  • 3+ years of work experience

  • E-Commerce and WordPress a plus

  • “Roll up your sleeve” type of mentality for a start-up brand

  • High proficiency in Excel, PPT, Google Docs

  • Graphic Design and Photography a plus

  • CPG experience a plus
