Brand Ambassador and Sales

The brand Ambassador will maintain and support our existing customer base in the Portland Metro region, while seeking new accounts and growing our brand presence. This will be done through direct sales, marketing, promotional activities and after sales and merchandising support. A strong vibrant personality will be essential in this field.

- Implement sales program for Santiam Brewing product lines.
- Generate customer orders for existing customers, and solicit new accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores)
- Identify accounts that are insufficiently penetrated and develop a plan to establish growth with these accounts
- Conduct educational training, beer tastings at customer accounts.
- Plan and conduct on-site promotions (such as tap take-overs) at customer accounts.
- Support merchandising with customer accounts.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts both on and off-premise
- Candidates must reside within the Portland Metro Area
- Clean driving record.
- Must be over 21
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years experience in commission based sales.
- Must be able to regularly move beer cases (10kg) and lift and maneuver kegs (up to 60kg)
- Must be familiar with metric weights and measures
- Ability to operate with minimal direct supervision, and interface with various departments.
- Strong self-motivation is required
- Self confidence, ability to speak to large groups and a confident assertive personality are necessary. We can teach you beer, but we can’t teach you to have a sales personality.
- Willingness to work evening and weekend work hours as dictated by the customer base.
