Revolution Brewing is seeking a creative communications strategist to serve as the company’s consistent voice, creating and delivering clear messaging through innovative and engaging content. The Communications Manager will maintain a shared focus between driving communications internally, with the company’s distributors, and direct to fans. The role will focus heavily on the development of well-planned campaigns to celebrate the company’s overall brand and presence in the market, in addition to the Brewpub & Tap Room. Interested candidates will have extensive experience in marketing, corporate communications and/or public relations, while also possessing a passion for craft beer and a demonstrated ability to drive excitement for the industry.


External Communications

  • Continue the development of Revolution’s external communication strategy, while proposing new opportunities to share our brand story, whether it be through social media, engaging with consumers, or narrating Revolution’s story across other mediums.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure successful and comprehensive communication plans around products and programming.

  • Produce and edit content, ads, and daily posts across various mediums while managing responses and engaging consumers; communicate success stories and areas for improvement to internal stakeholders.

  • Real-time monitoring of media campaigns across various channels and data points for engagement, trend, and budgetary analysis.

  • Strengthen relationships within our local community by managing internal community development and charitable giving initiatives.

  • Build and manage relationships with creatives in the craft beer industry, communicating various trends both externally and internally.

  • Manage website content and identify opportunities for an improved user experience.

  • Identify new technologies and platforms to keep Revolution relevant on various communication channels, mediums, and topics.

  • Own the spending for communications and social media within allocated budget.

Internal Communications

  • Plan, execute and evolve our internal communication strategy while promoting an inclusionary and collaborative culture.

  • Partner with the leadership team to develop an executive communications strategy within each department and location, identifying impactful methods to communicate specific messages to our employees.

  • Collaborate with HR and department heads in pinpointing internal communications gaps and recommend solutions.

  • Oversee and implement communications regarding critical issues with internal groups, and directing narratives through various mediums and channels.


  • Supervise the duties, special projects, schedules, and overall development of our Communications Specialist and Office Assistant.


  • 8+ years in a corporate communications role, with experience developing both internal and external communication strategies, including social media oversight.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or similar degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3+ years experience in creating successful digital, traditional, and/or street media campaigns.

  • Passionate craft beer enthusiast with a demonstrated ability to communicate with fans of the industry.

  • Ability to represent the brand while adopting and serving as the voice of Revolution Brewing.

  • Experience with image, graphic, and video editing tools, along with manipulating audio and adding special effects.

  • Video camera operating experience with DSLRs, etc., including separate audio recording. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues such as video file formats, digital memory storage, etc.

  • Previous use of social media scheduling and marketing tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
