National Account Manager Off-Premise West

What This Entails:

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has a hot opportunity to join our dynamic sales force in the awesome position of Off-Centered National Account Manager Off-Premise West.  If you know the who’s, what’s, where’s and how’s of off-premise chain business and have an amazing track record of enticing, capturing and captivating this pivotal market, get with us!  To that end, you’ll have to have the necessary contacts, know-how, presentation skills, experience, knowledge, and motivation to champion new business and further develop our existing chain relationships. It’ll be your job to grow our off-premise chain business that aligns nicely with our off-centered approach and delicious brand.  You’ll set realistic, seasonal/annual short and long-range brand aligned goals and plans that you’ll meet or beat!  You’ll work closely between our talented lot of Regional Managers and your accounts to build business, while promoting and fostering brand loyalty, development, and engagement.  You better be a wizard o’ the report to seek, mine, crunch and analyze any and all available market data to support the smart business decisions you’ll make. You’ll need to be willing to travel a good portion of the week, as you’ll need to meet with our beloved customers! And it’s super important you’re based within any California City near a major airport, as you’ll be on the go a super a lot. You’ll have our entire West Coast footprint as your terrain, loving every moment of it!  

What You Need To Land This Gig:

The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Biz or other relevant discipline. You must have a minimum 5 years sales support, National Account headquarter experience, preferably in the beer business with experience managing chain account business HIGHLY preferred. More significant career experience may replace part of the undergrad requirement.  You gotta be able to work late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays as necessary to support sales activities. You must be able to maintain your sobriety and professionalism while working in environments where the taps may be flowing, and a clean driving record is essential. You must also have exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, and strong PC skills with MS Office applications. You’ll also need to come with a healthy dose of working knowledge of Excel and VIP as you’ll be living and breathing these applications on a daily basis. And having a special place in your heart for the growing dogfish portfolio of beers is important to us too!
