Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an organized list of target/key accounts
  • Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on/ visit potential sales prospects        
  • Service and develop relationships with existing accounts to maximize sales
  • Log sales activity/daily call reports in Salesforce
  • Represent the company/ brand in a professional and positive manner at all times to all trade partners: retailers, wholesalers, brokers and marketing agencies.
  • Participate in and manage in-market public sampling events such as health fairs, 10k races, charity events, etc. as well as trade shows

  • Enthusiastic and comfortable working in a small company:  rapidly growing / changing environment with a willingness to roll-up your sleeves as needed
  • Self-starter, reliable and sales-oriented with an ability to be persistent with busy store buyers
  • Skilled multi-tasker with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong planning, organizational, project management along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills, including full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include some evenings or weekends
  • Previous sales, marketing or related experience is a plus
  • Some travel required—mainly in the NY-Metro area, but occasional travel outside the Metro area will be required to visit stores in adjacent marketing areas.
  • Must have a clean driving record and license
