We are seeking a positive minded, results driven, metric minded, team player to embark on, or further your career as a National Sales VP. First time National Sales Managers with a proven regional track record are welcome to apply, as are those with 2+ years of National Sales Management experience.

You will lead up our existing Business Development efforts and join an award winning team of talented, personable and creative individuals dedicated to pursuing our mission along with team and individual goals and success with equal ferocity. Our Headquarters are located in Brooklyn, New York though you can be based in your local market if not nearby with monthly visits to our HQ. Overnight travel will be required to support the National Business Development team and customer base support and build out.
Profile: VP of National Business Development
You will lead up our National Business Development Team fostering and growing existing business relationships while fostering new ones to maximize business opportunities, creating symbiotic win-win partnerships.
Your primary goals will consist of:
Leadership and build out of a direct sales team located on east and west coast
Leadership of brokerage team and network
Nurture and build existing and new customer partnerships to all channels
Lead up merchandising initiatives
Coordinate marketing initiatives
Engineer winning strategies to meet and surpass sales budgets by account and territory
The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience with Sales and Business Development in the organic or natural retail sector with accounts such as Whole Foods
Pertinacious yet alacritous work ethic while having fun!
Skills in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
A Passion for healthy, great tasting food and drink
Positive minded disposition and outgoing personality-- grouches need not applyJ
Ability to inspire by leading from the front and to nurture an environment where success is built on great teamwork
Relationship driven approach closely married to a measure to manage style
Overnight travel, 2-3 trips per quarter or more depending on your location
Excellent communication both verbally and in writing
Efficiency time management skills
A well organized, self-starter attitude is essential!
